Quiz Format
The Tata Crucible Café Quiz is a team-based, on-ground quiz.
- Team Size: 2 to 4 members
- Team Captain: Each team must nominate one Team Captain who will complete the registration.
- Duration: Approximately 60 minutes
- Rounds: 3 to 4 exciting rounds of questions and answers
- Quiz Genres: Pop culture, trending news, sports, technology, entertainment and more
- Entry Fee: No entry fee
Who Can Participate?
The quiz is open to anyone 18 years of age or above with a curious mind and a passion for trivia.
Whether you're a student, working professional or simply someone who loves learning and having fun, all you need is a team of 2 to 4 members to participate.
How to Register
- Form a team of 2 to 4 members.
- Nominate a Team Captain.
- Register online through the link provided on the Tata Crucible website.
- The Team Captain must provide the required details for all team members.
- Select your preferred location while registering.
- Once your registration is submitted, the Team Captain will receive a confirmation email/message.
- Your registration will be considered confirmed only once you receive the confirmation.
The Team Captain's registered email address and contact details will be used for further communication regarding the event.
Please register only once for a specific team and event date.

Winners & Prizes
The team with the highest score at the end of the quiz will be declared the winner. The next two highest-scoring teams will be declared the first and second runners-up, respectively.

Rules for Participation
- The Tata Crucible Café Quiz is a team-based, on-ground quiz with online registration.
- Each team must consist of 2 to 4 members.
- The Team Captain must register using their email address only once.
- Do not register the same team multiple times using different email addresses. If multiple registrations are made by mistake, only the first registration for the specific event date will be considered.
- Participants must be 18 years of age or above and should carry a valid ID or age proof on the day of the event.
- The Team Captain must provide valid details for all team members during registration.
- There is no entry fee to participate in the quiz.
- Each participant may participate only once during the current season of the Café Quiz.
- Participants who have already attended a session during the current season cannot participate again in the same season.
- On the day of the quiz, the Team Captain must have a smartphone available for use as the buzzer.
- The Team Captain may be required to download a buzzer application on their smartphone at the venue.
- All other team members must keep their phones switched off or on flight mode and visible to the organisers to ensure fair play.
- If the Team Captain is unable to use their smartphone, another team member may be required to use their phone for the buzzer. The phone must remain visible to the organisers, and other team members must not access their phones during the quiz.
- The team with the highest score at the end of the quiz will be declared the winner, followed by the first and second runners-up.
- Audience prizes may also be given out during the event.
Terms & Conditions
- The quiz is open to participants who meet the applicable age eligibility criteria.
- The Team Captain must register only once for a particular team and event date. If multiple registrations are submitted for the same team, only the first registration will be considered.
- The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the event, including its format, date, rules and other aspects, at any time before or during the event.
- The organisers reserve the right to accept or reject any application for registration and/or entry to the event.
- By entering and/or participating in the event, participants consent to being photographed, videographed and/or recorded by electronic and print media for telecast, publication and other display or promotional purposes by the organisers.
- By registering for the event, participants agree that the decision of the organisers and quizmaster will be final and binding on all matters relating to the event.
- By registering for the event, participants consent to receiving communications from the organisers regarding the event and other initiatives by the organisers or their group entities.
- Prizes, once awarded, are final and cannot be exchanged or substituted by the winners.
- The organisers, their employees, consultants, agents and third-party service providers will not be liable for any warranty, cost, damage, injury or other claims arising from the use of a prize after it has been delivered to the winner.
- If a specified prize becomes unavailable due to unforeseen circumstances, the organisers may substitute it at their discretion.
- All applicable tax liabilities relating to prizes will be the responsibility of the recipients.
- The organisers reserve the right to alter, amend or modify the rules of the quiz at any time without prior notice.
- The organisers do not pay or offer any participation fee for taking part in the event. Any third-party communication offering a participation fee in cash or kind should be treated as fraudulent and should not be entertained.
- Participants should promptly inform the organisers if they receive any fraudulent offer relating to participation in the event.
